Hi, I'm Patrick Coll, and I'm here today to talk about how you refresh a Mac. So, you may be wondering how you refresh your Mac, how you bring it back after it's asleep, or you might be wondering how to put it to sleep or how to restart it. All these terms are kind of covered by refreshing your Mac. If you want to put your Mac to sleep, you go up to the Apple menu, and you'll see sleep here. I'm not gonna do it right now, but that is how you do it. If my computer was asleep, the way to bring it back, you could tap on the space bar, move the track pad around, just do something to let the Mac know that you're back and it will come back to sleep. Another thing if you want to refresh your Mac. You might want to think about restarting it. Then you just hit restart, it will shut down and start back up, that refreshes it. Other times your Mac will go to sleep by itself because you've got the preferences set for that. In your system preferences you can set it to go to sleep after five, ten minutes, or never if you want. But if it does go to sleep, once again to refresh it, normally I'd just hit the space bar or just move the track pad, that lets it know that there's life on the other end, then it wakes up for you. This is how you refresh your Mac. I'm Patrick Coll, hope this has been helpful, thank you for watching.
