Hi this is Charles Henson with Nashville Computer. In this video I'm going to show you how to uninstall apps on a MacBook Pro. So the reason you may want to do this is you've installed an application on your computer that you no longer use or no longer need. Or maybe you were just testing it out and you don't like the program. So the first thing that we want to do is we're going to click on finder. Once we click on finder over on the left hand side you want to choose applications. Once you've chosen applications you'll look through your list of installed applications on your computer. And you want to double mouse click and then simply move to thrash. And just single mouse click on that. Once it's uninstalled then essentially what you can do is go back to your main desktop and make sure that it's not there. And you'll see by moving through here that the program no longer exists. If we want to permanently delete it from our machine then we'll simply click on empty trash can. Once you click on empty trash can you have to click on the prompt to empty trash can again. And then you want to remove all items upon this prompt. Once the trash can is complete then the application will no longer be installed on your computer nor be accessible. And the only way that you can get it back is to reinstall it.
