Hi, this is Charles Henson with Nashville Computer. In this video, I'm going to show you how to create a password for your Mac. The reason you might want to do this, is if you need to give your PC to someone else and let them use it. But you don't want to share your original password. So, the first thing what we want to do is, click on the Apple. Once we click on Apple, we'll choose System Preferences. Under System Preferences, you'll see that you have different options. And the option that you'll want to choose is Users and Groups. Once you've selected this, you'll see that you can either create a new guest account or a new account here. Where you can simply just click on Change Password. So, here we'll go ahead and type in the original password that we currently used and then, we'll type in the new password. And this will be the temporary password that you want to give to someone else while they're using your port station. And you'll need to verify that. If for some reason you've mistyped it, you'll need to retype it and do the verify. Once you've done this, you'll click on Change Password and you can close it out. and now, your password has been changed.
