Hi, my name is Susan Combs, and today we're going to talk about how to cancel AARP insurance. AARP is an organization that helps people that are 50 and older. So typically it's retired personnel that are going to be eligible or take part in their benefits, life insurance, you know homeowner's insurance mortgages things like that. Sometimes you've decided that you want to go with a different carrier so you want to cancel your policy. The best thing to do is to call them directly and make sure that you have your policy number with you and cancel your policy. Another way I will tell you with insurance is if you don't pay for your policy, they will cancel you for nonpayment. So ultimately if you can't get a hold of them and you can't get somebody to call you back, if you don't pay your premium, they will cancel you but I will tell you that's not the best way to do it. The best way to do it is going to be to go to them directly or you can also log onto your account online and to cancel your policy that way as well.
