Hi, I'm Rachel, and today we're going to be going over what is the characteristic of a line? A line is a straight path that goes on forever in both directions. So you have to have you know more then one point that can be you know millions of points on a line. Right there's all these little points here. And it keeps going for ever and ever in both directions. So this is different then a single point. And it's also different then a line segment which is the shortest distance between two points right. It's connecting two points straight with a straight you know path right. Just like a line is but it ends at both points. Where, so that's a line segment. Where as a line goes on forever. It's also different then a ray which is a point and a line that goes on forever coming from that point. So it's called a ray when it stops in one direction. And then goes on forever in a straight path in the other direction. So a line again, straight path that goes on forever in both directions. I'm Rachel and thank you very much for learning with me today.
