Hi, my name is Christina, and this is ways to get a three-year-old to eat new foods. It can be frustrating to get a picky eater to eat new foods, but there are lots of ways you can introduce them to fun and exciting food. One of my favorite ways to introduce my three-year-old to new foods is to mix the new food in with a familiar food. This can kind of take the shock off, especially for picky eaters. For example, maybe they've never had kiwi before, or haven't liked it in the past, cutting it up and putting it with a familiar food, something that they really love, can help introduce them to kiwi. You can use the same concept with vegetables, it can either just be a mixed vegetable dish, maybe some zucchini mixed in with peas if they like peas, or a cooked down and soft vegetable mixed in with a pasta dish that they love will really help disguise the oddity of the new food. While this is one of the easiest ways, one of my favorite ways to introduce them to new food is to do it in a creative way. Arranging the food in a smiley face or in the shape of something is a great way to get them interested in what they're eating. When introducing new food, it's important to make it a fun and tasty experience, but it doesn't hurt to disguise the food either. Thanks for watching.
