Hi, my name is Christina and this is good dinners for 12-month-olds. While there's a lot of talk about baby's nutrition and special foods available for them, as long as you are cooking healthy meals at home you don't have to worry about those things. At 12 months old your baby is able to pick up food with their own hands. They should be able to pick up small cut up grapes and soft kiwis, diced to a size where they are not going to choke but they can still pick them up. Whole grain bread and rice dishes are also really healthy for your babies. These are things that you often have and cook at home and so whenever you make them for the rest of your family, your baby can just eat with you. Whole grain pastas are one of my favorite weeknight meals. They are easy to make and you can do a wide variety of dinners with them. You can also mix up vegetables that cook down softly for your baby to eat s that they have more than one serving of vegetable in the pasta dish. I think the key for older babies is to not over think it. If you are cooking for your family, then your baby can eat what you are making. Thanks for watching.
