Hi, this is Chris Burke, better known as Mr. Faux. And today I'm going to be talking about how to create a 3D wall using a stencil and plaster. Materials you'll need are painter's tape, a stencil, dry wall mud, putty knife, and eggshell latex paint. Before you begin make sure you tape the edges in the room you will be painting. This is to ensure you have clean and perfect lines. The first thing you are going to do is tape your stencil to the wall. Next place mud on your putty knife and pull it through the stencil. Take the stencil off the wall and move to another section. Repeat that process. Lastly you are going to paint two coats of eggshell latex paint. And the color of your choice. And let it dry. Now you have your masterpiece. This is Chris Burke. I just showed you how to create a 3D wall using a stencil and plaster.
