Hi, I'm Matthew Pizzi. I'm going to show you how you can edit a PDF document inside of Photoshop CS6. If you have a PDF file and you need to modify it in any way, you can use Photoshop to make those adjustments. When editing a PDF inside of Photoshop, it's important to understand that it's not Acrobat. You don't have the full range of text editing capabilities that you would have in a program like Acrobat. With that being said, you do have all the editing capability of Photoshop. So let's go ahead and take a look at how we can edit a PDF inside of the program. The first thing that you need to do is go to the file menu and from the file menu you can choose open. In the open dialog box, go ahead and choose a PDF file. Once you select the PDF file, a dialog box will open. This dialog box will display all the pages within the PDF and you can go ahead and select the page that you want to edit. Once you select the page you want to edit, on the right hand side you can choose how large you want this image to be. Ultimately the PDF document has to turn into an image. Remember, Photoshop is an image editing application. Once you configure the dimensions of the image, go ahead and click okay and you will notice you have that page available to you as a document inside of Photoshop. You have the full range of Photoshop's editing capabilities to modify this document.
