Hi, I'm Charlie Kasov, and this is how to construct a triangle SSS. So SSS refers to side, side, side, meaning you've been given all three sides. So, let's say you have a triangle that is five, four, six. That's it, you just put the sides together and create a triangle. However, if you've been given three numbers, you have to be careful that they can actually create a triangle. So five, six and four work because they satisfy the triangle inequality theorem, meaning all sides of the triangle for all sides, two of the sides have to add up to more than the third side. So if we called this side a, this side b and this side c, a plus b has to be greater than c, b plus c has to be greater than a, and a plus c has to be greater than b. If these three properties are not fulfilled, not satisfied, then you cannot construct a triangle with the three sides.
