Hi. My name is chef Syd Marshal and this is how to make healthy General Tso chicken. General Tso chicken it typically done in a fried batter. To make it healthier we're going to skip that part. We're going to start by taking 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breast and mix it with some chopped green onion and a few dried Thai chilies. We'll let this sit for a few minutes. Then we'll mix up our sauce. We're going to use a half cup of corn starch, a quarter cup of water, 1 and a half teaspoons of fresh minced garlic, three quarters of a cup of sugar, half a cup of soy sauce, a quarter cup of white vinegar, a quarter cup of white wine and about 2 cups of chicken broth. Then moving to our wok we're going to start by sautéing our chicken until it's almost done. Then we'll add our sauce and cook until the sauce thickens. And then it's ready to serve over some fresh steamed rice.
