Hi, my name is Christina, and this is baby food ideas that are easy for a working mom. Being a working mom is difficult and because you want the best for your baby, it's easy to over think things. But simple and fresh is best. If you'd like to make your own baby food, steaming and then mashing sweet potatoes are a great way to feed a hungry baby. It's really simple and you don't even need a blender. Just make sure you mash them and take out any fibers that might be a little long or tough. Peas are also a great introductory food. You can cook them and then throw them in a blender, they're ready to go. Each of these things you can make several servings at a time and freeze them in freezer safe containers and pull them out as you go. This can really cut down on prep time. Depending on the age of your baby, pasta is a great way to feed your whole family and you can include other vegetables in with it. This is a nutritious meal that isn't made specifically for baby but it's perfect for them. Another thing to consider if you are a working mom is to instead of making baby foods to wait until your baby shows signs of readiness by picking up things off their tray and feeding themselves, then you are not restricted by making purees specifically for baby but you can incorporate into your meals things that the baby can eat that you are already cooking for the rest of your family like rice, whole peas and pasta. Thanks for watching.
