This is Chef Doreen Fang, and today I’m going to show you how to take the tartness out of spaghetti sauce. A lot of times, marinara is just way too tart, and it actually makes your stomach upset. So, I’m going to show you different ways to eliminate some of that tartness. One of my favorite ways to take out the tartness and still leaving it as spaghetti sauce and not putting the cream in would be using butter. So, I would actually just cut maybe a couple of tablespoons of butter first. I would actually put it inside my sauce when it’s nice and hot, and I’ll just melt it right inside. Then, I’ll taste it and make sure that it is not too tart.
