I'm Xtah and this is can you cut your own split ends. Absolutely you can, why not? But you also have to remember you want to do that hair by hair and not section by section. You don't want to make an ugly hairdo after doing it but what I will tell you is that actually it is not too bad to do that because if the hair starts splitting it can actually keep going and keep going and make it worse and worse. So if you do see split ends you can absolutely cut that off, just be very careful, cut right after the split has happened and just do it as a hair by hair kind of treatment and then go and see your hairdresser to get a nice good shape on a regular basis.
