I'm Xtah, and this is "how to prevent breakage during winter months." So, really, this is about the dryness of the winter. It gets really dry out there, especially in a metropolitan area, so what I suggest is once a week, to do a nice hair mask. If you do a hair mask, you're going to apply it, like, just to the ends, or all over, you know, depends on how your hair is feeling. I like to actually leave it on or put it underneath a heat source, but bag it up, walk around your apartment with a towel around your head or something, or just a regular shower cap works. Let it stay on for about 45 minutes or a half an hour, you know, depends on your schedule, and then just rinse out. Do not shampoo it out, just rinse it and the remaining nutrition that is in there will help your hair stay nice during these dry winter months.
