I'm Xtah, and this is "do I have to bleach my hair to become blonde?" Well, the answer is no. It all depends on your level of color. If you are like a sandy blonde area, which is about a level six, or a seven, on a professional color scale, then you don't have to. Just using a regular color, a high lift color, will be able to make you to a blonde. But, if you are a color underneath that, which is going to be a level, maybe six, or below, to like a black, then yes, you will need a bleach, or as a professional calls, a lightener. So, our model has two different colors in her hair, which part of it is a level six, kind of like a sandy blonde, and then her regrowth that she has coming in is a bit darker, maybe about a level five, or maybe a four and a half, so she would definitely need to use lightener or bleach to get the rest of her hair that is darker up to a blonde tone.
