I'm Aaron Tucker, and this is when is a necktie outdated. You can tell if your necktie is outdated, A by the shape. Now, the trends is all about skinny ties. Ties don't have to be super skinny, but the narrower, the more modern they are. Wider ties are totally outdated. No one wears a wider tie, why? Because that's something from the 70's or early 80's. Also, you can tell whether or not a tie is outdated by the prints of the tie. A lot of prints you're not gonna see anymore. It really is hit or miss, because it could be a personal preference as to whether or not you can pull it off, but certain prints are a little more outdated than others. So, in order to kind of stay on trend and in line, go for simpler ties, go for solids, go for just nice materials as well, and go for skinnier more narrow ties in order to stay on trend a little more current with the tie selection.
