Hi, I'm Shannon Grossi, a software trainer, and I'm here to show you how to add a picture as a background for your PowerPoint presentations. So I have a presentation open, there's no design or anything in it. So I'm gonna right-click in an empty spot on the slide and choose format background. And then in my list of choices I'll select picture, and the picture is something I'll need to insert, so I'll choose insert from file, and at this point you'll want to navigate to where your picture file is. I'm gonna chose the one that has the tulips on it, and insert. Now the picture's a little bit too dark for the background, so next I'm going to slide this dial at transparency until I see it washed out to a level that I like, and then the big trick here is to apply to all and then all of your slides will have that as the background. So now if I go to my new slide button, and any slide that I put in here now will also have the same background. I'm Shannon Grossi, and that's how you can add picture as a background to your PowerPoint presentations.
