Hi, I'm Shannon Grossi, a software trainer. I'm gonna show you how to use shortcut keys to navigate through the tabs in Excel. So the trick is to just press the alt key. When I press the alt key, it activates my shortcut keys. So up in the ribbon, I now have letters that represent all of the different tabs. If I wish to navigate for example to the insert tab, I'll press the letter n on my keyboard, and the from there I have another series of letters to get to another command. Now let's say that my intentions were to stay on the home tab, so by pressing the escape key will take me back out and I am going to use bold as my shortcut. So I'm gonna grab my column headers and again use my alt key, and home is h, so I'll tap the h key, and when I look at the font group, I can see bold is one. So all I have to do is press one. So these shortcut keys are nice if you just want to hang out on the keyboard and not use the mouse. I'm Shannon Grossi, and this is how to use the shortcut keys to navigate around in the tab.
