Hi, I’m Eileen Keshishian, and today I’m going to show you how to make drapery tiebacks out of rope. This is a really fun way to add some earthiness, elegant, and chic to your drapery panels. This is a very inexpensive project. I’ve gone to my local hardware store and picked up some rope and hardware for less than 10 dollars. First, what you want to do is you want to measure out 50 inches, which is approximately the size of a standard drapery panel. Then, what you’re going to do is fold it in half and fasten both ends of the rope – one to the ring, and one to the clip. Then, once you’re done, you fold it over and fasten the clip and the ring together, and you have a drapery tieback.
