Hi, I’m Chef Jamie Gwen, and this is how you make mini meatballs with yogurt dill sauce – a combination of ground lamb, fresh mint and dill, garlic and lemon zest come together for a delicious appetizer, or perfect piled into a sandwich or a sub. In a large bowl, combine one pound of ground lamb, quarter-cup of chopped shallots, a quarter-cup of breadcrumbs, one garlic clove chopped, one tablespoon of freshly chopped mint, the juice of half a lemon, two eggs, a pinch of cinnamon, and salt and pepper. Serve these mini meatballs with a simple yogurt dill sauce made from Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and chopped dill. Pile them in a pita bread, and enjoy!
