Hi, my name is Chef Syd Marshal, and this is "what kind of seaweed do you put into miso?" seaweed comes in a lot of different varieties. They're really rich in minerals and iron. For miso, we're gonna use wakame. Typically, you're gonna find it, dried, in your Asian market. We're gonna start by putting it into our bowl, with a little bit of warm water, and let it sit for about a minute, to reconstitute. This absorbs really quickly, so it only takes about a minute and then it's ready to go right into your soup. And, there you have what kind of seaweed to use for miso.
