Hi, my name is Christina. And this is what to do with an 11-day-old newborn. Having a new baby is so exciting. There are lots of things you can do with the baby from talking to them and playing with them, to going on short outings to see friends. At 11 days old,m you're still getting to know your new baby. Their habits ans quirks, sleep habits and still trying to catch up on your own sleep. At that point you maybe ready to venture out of the house or maybe not. You're time will be consumed with meeting their needs and trying to get a nap while they nap. Newborn babies spend most of their time sleeping and each one has a different personality. Some babies like to held while they sleep, some babies like to be laid down while they sleep. But when it comes to interacting with your baby, skin on skin contact and talking to them are the most important things you can do. Most of their time is spent sleeping or eating. And other than that, you can talk to them, play with your hands a little bit. And lay them on your chest, skin on skin. That's really all they need when it comes to doing things with them. But once you feel better and are able to be mobile again outside of the house. Feel free to take your baby along. The most important things for your baby are physical contact and talking to them. You are their comfort. Thanks for watching.
