Hi, I'm Michael Bremmer, and I'm here today to talk to you about how to get internet service at home. There are usually several options to get internet service to your home including the phone company, the local cable company, cellular service and if all fails, dial-up. If at all possible, avoid dial-up because it's going to be a very slow internet connection and it won't be one that you can share. More than likely you can get DSL or cable modem at your house and typically they are very affordable. What you're going to want to do is go onto Google if you don't know who your local phone company is or local cable company and type in the name of your city and ask who is my local cable company or phone company. And finally, if you want very fast services portable, you can use cellular service from say Verizon, A T and T, Sprint or T-Mobile. The drawback of it though is they have a limit to how much you can use each month and your bill can get very expensive very quickly. You only want to use that type of service as a convenience or if you are a very light user of the internet.
