Hi, I'm Michael Bremmer, and today I'm going to talk to you about how to extend a Verizon wireless router's reach throughout your home. If you are like me and you've got a large home and your router is in one room, sometimes the wireless signal won't reach the entire house or even the back yard. So what you need to do is get a wireless extender. There's two ways to do this. One, you can get a wireless extender that wirelessly takes the signal and bounces it out further. That's an okay way to do it, however, it's not going to work as well as something that has a wire to it. So what I did at my house is I got a wireless extender, I mounted it in the middle of my garage which is about the middle of my house and I capped five wire to it so that way I literally made an extension off of my router. Not only did this solve my problem in my house of not having wireless service everywhere, but now the wireless service works in my back yard by the pool.
