Hi, I'm Steve Clark of RFC of San Francisco. Today, we are going to speak about, should you wear a mask when sanding putty? I always wear a mask when I'm sanding putty. Now putty itself is not a danger product. And when you sand it the particles from it aren't harmful. But I don't want to take the risk. Plus I'm one of those people I sand sometimes not in the area that I'm supposed to. And when that happens I'm releasing other particles that might have lead, that might have other contaminants. Therefore I always wear a mask. I buy a box of 10 surgical masks when I start a project. That gets me through 10 days of work. Each day I put on a new mask and discard the old one. That way I know my lungs are nice and safe. Today we spoke about should you wear a mask when sanding putty? I'm Steve Clark of RFC of San Francisco, a licensed general contractor and a licensed plumber. Thanks for watching.
