Hey, my name is Zach. If you're setting a flat screen monitor on your laptop to extend your work space, then there's an optimum resolution that you should select. So, over here on my computer, what I'm going to do first is right click and go to screen resolution. I've this other monitor setup and it's 1440 by 900. Now, that's the best resolution for that screen. If I were mirroring the display, it would actually take this screen display which is 1366, which is actually not as good as 1440. So, over here as you can see, I'm extending these displays rather than just mirroring or just showing on one or the other. You can adjust these settings just by clicking between each monitor. As you can see the 1366 by 768 is my laptop monitor and the flat screen is its optimum setting at 1440 by 900. My name is Zach and I hope this video helped. Thanks for watching.
