I'm Kate Leser, the makeover expert and I'm here at The Art of Style in Raleigh, North Carolina. Today's topic is how to stylize your clothing for men. Everyone should have a foundation wardrobe and that wardrobe should work for your lifestyle whether you are working out of the home, in the office or if you spend time outside of the office, you need a wardrobe that works for you. When I talk about a foundation wardrobe, what that means is for the guys I always recommend that you get a suit, even if you are not dressing every day in a suit look you still should have it for those chances where you have to go to a special business meeting, or even I hate to say it but even a funeral, places where you are going to need a suit, you should have a suit. Then you can do a lot of different things with your suit. In addition to your suit for your foundation wardrobe, you're going to need several different shirts. You can have a dress shirt that has a print. You can have some solid colors like pink or white, black, you will want some basic shirts. And then to add some graphic tees which are a little more modern and fresh you can have a graphic tee. Now don't forget your shoes because you will need a pair of shoes that go with your suit and your belt should also match and then you are going to have some casual shoes so you can have one pair of casual shoes. Now the last piece is a pair of jeans. You want a dark wash pair of jeans. Why dark wash? Because that is more authoritative, it looks dressier. So when you pair these clothes together and mix and match them you get more to wear.
