Hi, I'm Kate Leser, The Makeover Expert. I'm here in Raleigh, North Carolina at The Art of Style Boutique. Today's topic is highly recommended men's dress work shoes. Believe it or not your shoes play a very important role in your professional image. Your shoes are noticed everyday. So whether you dress more authoritative, more conservative or you're in a business casual environment. You need to be aware of your shoes and the shape that your shoes are in and the look that you're presenting with this professional image. So, I have examples here of the different levels that I would call levels of shoes. So, your most professional would be like a tie up Oxford shoe. And then, this shoe here is a slip-on leather shoe, it's a wonderful shoe to have, especially if you travel. Because you can get these on and off very easily. But these shoes will take you from work, if you're in a suit or dress pants, all the way down to jeans. And they would look very nice with a pair of jeans. Now, if you are in a more casual environment, a business casual environment, certainly you could do a nice boot. Now remember, remove the scuffs, keep them clean, keep them neat, keep the dirt off of them. So that you will always have a professional image that you're portraying. Now lastly, if you are in a very casual, maybe an artistic environment, you can get away with a little more casual look. So, we have here a wonderful pair of sneakers. Now these tennis shoes look much more modern than your typical Chucks. So this and this, they have color, these are green. So this is also a very nice look for even if you're dressed casual. Because regardless of how you dress, you still want your shoes to fit that image and you still want to be stylish.
