Hi, I'm Kate Leser, the Makeover Expert. Today is, "What not to wear with neutrals?" A neutral is a color that is not bright or strong. So, with that said, everything can go with a neutral. When thinking about a neutral, think about men suiting, navy, black, brown, tan, white; those are all neutral colors. Gray, that's also a neutral color. So, when you're wanting to get dressed and you're wearing your neutrals and wondering what goes with my neutrals, everything goes with neutral. One thing or two things that you should keep in mind is you want a pop of color when you're wearing say a gray or a neutral, and then you also want to add texture because this adds interest to your outfit. So, you want to have a little more style, you need some texture, some color. So, what I've done here is we have a neutral gray and we have a neutral green tee. The tee has graphics, so that gives a little more interest to a basic outfit. But, if you add a scarf or something with texture, you will see that it does pop the outfit a little more. Now, me, I'm a big advocate of color. So, I love to add color to your neutrals and a pop of color, so something bright like a hot pink or blue or something a little brighter; red it's a great color to pair with your neutrals.
