Hi, I'm Jaclyn Peresetsky. And today, we're going to discuss what color of blond highlights look great with warm skin. Well, first of all you have to identify if you have warm skin. Our model, Debbie here has warm skin and her skin has that yellow undertone. That is key characteristic to see when you're looking at your own skin tone. If you have a lot of yellow in your skin, typically you are going to be warm. Now if you are blond, you want to make sure your blond yellow hair and your skin tone don't match exactly. Because that's going to make you look washed out. In fact when you're choosing a highlight color, that means you have to go two to three shades lighter than your natural hair color. So, sun lit hair, sun kissed hair is the way to go. Think of all the colors in the sunlight during a nice summer day. All those yellows, those bronzes, those coppers, those are the kinds of tones that we're going to look for in a blond hair. So just like my hair book here, we have a light caramel, we have a light gold. These colors are going to be absolutely perfect to choose if you have warm hair and a warm skin tone. But again, make sure that you're playing a little bit with the value, you want to choose a light and a darker shade. You don't want to have your hair typically all over one color, if you're trying to create a highlighted look. I hope this information helps and we'll see you next time.
