Hi, I'm Dan Weisenberger and this is how to stimulate photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is a complex biochemical pathway involving several chemical reactions, however, we can break it down into this simple equation here in which light energy and C02 and water inside plant cells is eventually converted into sugar and oxygen. Now to discuss the features that could stimulate photosynthesis, the first thing would be light energy. The presence of light energy, the duration of light and the intensity of that light would help to drive photosynthesis forward. Second, increased levels of carbon dioxide or increased concentrations of carbon dioxide also help to stimulate this pathway. Finally we can't have photosynthesis occurring without chlorophyll and these are the small green pigments in plant chloroplasts that absorb light energy and eventually initiate this reaction chain that results in the production of sugar and water. I'm Dan Weisenberger and this is how to stimulate photosynthesis.
