Hey, my name's Jared Abbott, right now you can me Chef J. Here's how to make an oven roasted London broil turkey with salsa. It's a fresh healthy alternative to your typical red meat London broil. Alright, I'm going to prepare shallot, two cloves of garlic. I'm going to finely dice and put into this London broil turkey. I like using shallots sometimes, very similar to onion but a little bit milder of a flavor. It'd fun to switch it up sometimes and use something different. It's a nice fine chop there, not too tiny a pieces. Going onto the garlic now. What's fun about garlic is, the skin's the hard part to get off. And the easy way to do it is just the back of the knife and give it a nice whack. So the skin comes off very nicely. Back of the knife, whack, skin pops right off. Just run the knife through that real quick as well. It's a nice, big turkey breast here, about a pound and a half. It's got some of this fat little bit on the side, I'm going to clean it up just by kind of removing some of the bigger pieces of fat, it's boneless. Cook in the oven about in 45, 50 minutes at a temperature of 350. So, I've got my turkey breast prepped and ready, I want to add a little bit of seasoning before I put it in my dish. Both sides, I'll add a little ground mustard, mustard powder, some white pepper, let's get both sides. Some onion powder and a little bit of black pepper as well. Nice and seasoned up, I'll throw it into the oven pan. I was ready to start and get some other ingredients on there. So, I'm going to put the shallots and garlic that I've chopped finely, right on top. Alright, so I'm adding a little bit of black pepper here in the end to finish up. Got my turkey breast all seasoned, looking good. I'm going to add the ingredients. I've got shallots, garlic finely chopped, I've got a can of Ortega chilies that I've also chopped. These are my favorites, they add a great a flavor. I'm going to finish the top off with some green salsa, some salsa verde, one of my favorites right here. Just kind of spoon that all over the top, get it nice and moist. And I'm going to put a little aluminum foil and throw it in the oven. Alright, it's going in the oven, 350 degrees for about 50 minutes. So, I've just taken it out of the oven, it was in there for about 50 minutes altogether. I'm going to cut some thin slices at an angle. That delicious salsa verde on top. This will be ready to eat. By using the green salsa or any other salsa with your London broil in the oven, it's going to keep your meat nice and moist.
