Hey. I'm Jared Abbott, but you can call me chef J. Here's a little recipe of ground turkey, spinach and cheese. Why do I love this dish, it's healthy, simple, super quick and easy, it's got protein from the turkey and cheese and vitamins and nutrients from the fresh spinach. So I've got a couple of green onions right here, going to chop the ends off and then just finely dice them. Got my cash iron skillet on a medium high heat, a couple of tablespoons of olive oil. We'll start by putting that fresh ground turkey meat right in there. Just going to let the brown up for a couple of minutes by itself. All right. So I like to let my turkey meat cook all on one side. I kind of flatten it out like that. And then I'll flip it, it flips nice and easy. Going to cook on that side again, and then kind of break it up. There we go. So I've gone through and broken that turkey meat up a little bit and then I add green onions in, some chopped Ortega chili and the spinach I'll throw it right on top. And that's going to cook down quite a bit so I'll just mix it in for a couple of minutes. Now that the spinach has cooked down I lowered my heat and a little bit of flavor, about a tablespoon of Dijon mustard, a couple of shakes of cumin, ground cumin and a sprinkle of soy sauce. I'll mix that up. The last step is I'm going to turn the heat off and put my feta cheese in there. Now it's all crumbly and nice like that. I don't want it to melt too much, that's why I turn the heat off to kind of stay hard in there. Now I topped it with a little bit of avocado and feta cheese on top for a little bit of extra flavor. This dish is healthy, it's got that turkey and cheese and spinach in there. It's also fun, you can put any of your favorite ingredients in. Just a couple or all of them. It's turkey time.
