Hi, I'm Chef Jamel Boyd. Today, we're going to teach you how to cook butter-braised beef. It's a different cooking method than a normal; rather than sauteing it, grilling it, or pan-roasting it, we're going to braise them in butter. The beef has been previously marinated with a little Worcestershire sauce and olive oil. And we also have our melted butter. Inside the melted butter, I put several rosemary sprigs to get the butter a much aromatic flavor. So, we'll start by taking a piece of beef, running a fork, a skewer through it and just skewering them until we have two nice skewers. I want to stick this from now, after I got them all skewered, I'm going to place them inside the butter, okay, and then I'll put this pot back over the stove and I'll let them cook for about three to four minutes. So, I'm just sauteing the vegetables to go with the beef. It's a sweet and sour sauce that I'm going to coat onto the beef once it's done. Now, I'm just going to place our sauteed vegetables on a plate, nice little bed of them. Take the beef, it's been nice braised in butter. Now, what I'm going to do is I'm just going to run it through the sweet and sour sauce, just like so. I'll place it on this one and drizzle some rosemary essence from the beef and the vegetables. Hi, I'm Chef Jamel Boyd and that's how you prepare a butter-braised beef.
