Hi, I'm Ula Robertson Neumann, and chef and owner of At Your Service NY Catering. Today I'm going to show you how to cook meat and cabbage. So a lot of people are afraid of cabbage because they find it's difficult to do but it's actually not. Okay I start by adding about two tablespoons of oil and I now add the meat. I now add the onions and salt and black pepper, the spices and the garlic, tomato paste, about a tablespoon or so. I just want to get a little bit of caramelization onto the meat. So we are almost there. So I now add the cabbage and I chose Savoy cabbage for this dish because it cooks really quickly. I will add the beef broth. So I will cover this now and reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer for about five minutes. So I used stir fry meat in this application so this is why everything came together so quickly. We can do the same thing with stew meat but then you know, the cooking time for the meat would be approximately an hour or an hour and a half.
