Hi, I'm Ula Robertson Neumann, and Chef and owner of At Your Service NY Catering. Today I'm going to show you how to make chicken pot pie with sour cream. Chicken pot pie is comfort food, especially in cold winter months it's just wonderful to have, and the addition of sour cream makes it nice and creamy, so it's really a wonderful dish. So I start by adding the oil to the pan, and then the flour goes in. So what we try to create here is a roux. So this needs to cook for about a minute or so. So add the soup now. For this recipe we need chicken soup and we divide the meat and the vegetable from the soup itself. Now we'll add the sour cream, the chicken and the veggie. So I bring this to a boil and then it can go in the, the oven-proof dish. So I place the meat in the oven-proof bowl. Put the puff pastry on top. So make a few dents in the, in the puff pastry so the vapor can escape, and put a little bit more on the top. So the chicken pot pie went into the oven, 10 minutes at 350 degrees, and it's now ready to enjoy. I'm Chef Ula Neumann Robertson, and I just showed you how to make chicken pot pie with sour cream, the Ulala way.
