Hello, everyone. I'm Joshua Clement, and this is how to touch up your textured drywall. On your textured walls whenever you move a picture or take something off that's attached to the wall it's going to leave some little holes there that are going to be an eyesore when someone walks into the room. So I'm going to show you how to fix that. For this job, I'm going to be using a little bit of drywall mud on my trowel. Here we have a hole that's left over from something that was hanging on our wall. So what we are going to do is go ahead and smooth the area just with our fingers to keep any drywall dust that is coming out of the hole from sticking out after we put our mud up. So I'll just wipe down a little bit then we're going to take our drywall mud and get it on our finger. The reason I'm using my finger is because I can shape it to the design of the wall without any flat spots. So I'll just take it and shove it into the wall and just smooth it out around the edges. Then we'll take a little bit more and get the design that is already on the wall. After that dries, you're going to take a little brush with some paint on there and go ahead and touch up the areas that have the new mud on there. That way it helps blend it into your old wall. Touching up your walls like this is pretty cheap and it keeps you from getting those smooth spots on your walls. Thank you all for watching and good luck with this project.
