Hi, my name is Brian, and this is how to reduce the size of a printed copy. Now sometimes we're working on Microsoft Word and you want to print something out. Now the standard size that Microsoft Word sets for a document is a size of regular printing paper is 8 1/2 by 11 inches. Lets say you want to make that smaller, maybe print out for an index card or a greeting card, or something like that. Well you can easily change the size of your printout by going into page setup in Microsoft Word. In order to do that you go into file and then page setup. Under page setup you can change the paper size to many of the presets that are already here. For example I can change it to an index card thee by five inches. Or you can make your own custom size under managed custom sizes. And then you can change it to whatever size that you want. And you can name it whatever you want so you can remember it and save it for whenever you printout at that size off Microsoft Word. So lets change mine to an index card three by five. And then hit ok. And now when I print out it will try to print to the size of an index card as long as there is an index card in the computer. Or it will print out this size page on a regular sheet of paper from your printer.
