Hi. My name is Brian, and this is how to take a screen cap if you don't have the button prnt scrn. So oftentimes you're going to want to take a picture of your computer screen or you want to take a picture of a portion of your computer screen. Now on a PC on a desktop generally the keyboard has a print screen button which you can just hit and that will take a capture of the screen. On a Mac or most laptops that print screen button's not available. So I'm going to show you how to capture the screen on a Mac. Now there are two shortcuts you can use. One of them is Apple key shift 3. And that will simply take a picture of the screen in its entirety and save it to the desktop. You can also hit Apple key shift 4 and that'll change your cursor into this icon here. And then you can select whatever portion of the screen you want to capture and it will save it to your desktop as well.
