I'm Parker Pierce, and this is "how to grab and move stuff in MS Paint." In this video, we'll explore the selection tool, some of the features it has, and what you can do with it. Open up Paint and make a quick mark. In the top left, press the selection button and drag it over your mark. You can now move everything contained in the box to a new location. Next, make a large chunk of color. A quick way to do this is to make a box and fill it. If we box select the swirl, and move it over, you'll notice the white pixels are covering up the red. If you just want the swirl, hit the arrow next to the select button and check transparent selection, at the bottom, and try moving your image again. You'll still see other pixels giving you a bit of a halo. That's because they aren't quite pure white. Next, under the selection tools dropdown list, you can find the free transform selection tool. This has all the features of the box selection, but now, you can draw in the exact shape you want to, and move.
