I'm Parker Pierce. And this is how to make a business card in Paint. Most business cards generally come with some high definition visuals to them. However there is charm that comes with Pixel Art and maybe relevant to your job choice. I'm going to show you how to use Paint to make a card like that. First, open Paint and shrink the canvas down until you can see it manipulate individual pixels with ease. Set the canvas shape to that of your standard business card. Pixel Art does not handle the same as regular painting or illustration. Softness of objects are determined by local brightness and pixels or averaged out pixels. So to soften a sharp box corner, we'd use gray. Text at level in Paint will look crisp until you type in and click away. Only when you click away, does it reveal the true quality. So, play around with your fonts and sizes. after that you can add simple Sprite Art in the corner. This can be an opportunity to reference some of your favorite old school games. You can also hand write your own letters. Sometimes a cleanup on your lettering will work faster than, sometimes a cleanup on your own lettering will be faster than cleaning up that of a font. It also depends on the consistency of your own writing. Fill out any information you need on your card and you should be good to go.
