Hi, my name is Eylene Pirez and I'm an astrophysicist and this is, "Does Pluto have a hot inner core?" So let's talk about Pluto for a second. Lets say that this is the sun and here we have Pluto. It can get as far as 50 astronomical units and what that means is that it can be 50 times further than, than Earth and it can get as close to 30 astronomical units so this is not very close to the sun and it really does not get very warm, most of the composition, the composition of Pluto is mostly rock and ice, it's about 50 to 70 percent rock, the rest of it is ice. So it is a very, very cold place and by cold I mean the inner core is a 1,650 degrees below so that means it does not have a hot inner core and in fact is extremely, extremely cold and if you were to touch it you would probably, your body would freeze immediately. My name is Eylene Pirez, and I'm an astrophysicist and this is, "Does Pluto have a hot inner core?"
