Hi, my name is Luke, and this is what is the bar at the bottom of the Desktop called. The bar at the bottom of the Desktop in Windows is called the taskbar. The taskbar can display important information like the time and date, power options, network connections and sound settings. If you click on the up arrow here, you can look at the different programs that may be running. All the way at the left you'll notice the start button. The start button is an important way to access different programs and features and files in your computer. Another cool feature of the task bar is that you can pin files and programs to it by simply dragging and dropping them to the bottom. If you would like to unpin any of these programs, simply right click and click unpin this program and that's it.
