Hi, my name is Eylene Pirez, and I'm an astrophysicist and these are the forces that shape planets. So what turns planets into a ball? Well during formation you have to think about space being a vacuum and the forces are always central. So gravity tends to shape everything they get into a ball. So the first force it would be gravity and then the second thing that we need to look at are the planets are not perfectly spherical. They tend to be a little bleat so they are sort of like this. I'm sorry for my poor skill drawing and then here is the equator. And it's spinning like this. So generally at the center of the spin we can see a bulging out of the planet and this has to do with the rotational forces. So the second thing that shapes the planet is rotation and then we get minor things here and there and all that has to do with pressure, volcanoes, landforms, all the landform pressures that continually change the surface of the planet. So this will be land pressure and these are about the main things that really shape up the surface and shape up the planet as a whole. My name is Eylene Pirez and I'm an astrophysicist and these are the forces that shape up a planet.
