Hi, I'm Dr. Robert Pomahac, and today's question is technique for a full Olympic squat. I love the squat but you've got to do it properly. Why? Because a full body exercise is focused on your legs, your glute, your core and your upper body but it has to be done right with proper technique. The squat is a full body exercise really focusing on your legs, your glutes and your core. You've got to make sure you understand where your body neutral is, your pelvic neutral, keeping your shoulders back as well. If you are feeling it in your low back, you are not doing it properly. You don't need a full bar to do it, you can use dumbbells or not even any weight, just your squat by using your body.
