Hey, my name's Zach, and I wanted to show you how to add text slides in Final Cut Pro. It's good to know how to do this because you can do subtitling, you can also do many other things with titles like lower thirds and everything like that. So I'll show you how now. So lets just say I wanted to put a little word down here. What I would do is go over to this button here but if I'm on the motion tab that button disappears. You need to be on the video tab. So we'll click here and have it scroll down and you can go to text and you can pick many options here. I'm just gonna go with text regular and if you hit controls up here where it says sample text in your video you can manipulate. So we'll say Minecraft and we can change the font to whatever we want and whatever size we want. We can make it bolder italic here or lets go with both. You don't have to really worry about the alignment but you can pick a color if you like and I'll go with lavender that's all you'll need to know here. Now go back to the video and you'll see Minecraft is here. All you have to do is click and drag and drop and we'll hit shift-C and as you can see Minecraft is there and I can just leave it here and my video will play right on top of it. My name's Zach and I just showed you how to add text slides in Final Cut Pro. Thanks for watching.
