I'm Lindsey Ralston. And this is how to make river rock candle holders and lamps. In this project, I'm taking a lamp that I've had around my house, that's a little drab and a jar candle that you get those at the store and they've got just the plain glass on them. And I'm taking some river rocks and making them a little more fun. To get started with this project, you first want to plug in your glue gun and get that heated to temp. Make sure you have your extra glue sticks sitting close by, so you can grab them while you're in the middle of your project. Then, take your lamp and your jar candle and your river rocks and start kind of imagining the layout that you want. I simply just kind of place them on lightly, see where I like them and then, start laying the rocks down. So, I know the order that I want to put them on the lamp and the jar candle. Now that you glue gun is heated to temp, you can get started gluing the river rocks onto the lamp and jar candle. Simply take the glue gun, glue the back of the rock and place it onto the lamp where you already decided that you wanted it. Now do that for all the additional rocks that you want onto the lamp or the jar candle. And keep gluing until you get the look that you like. Once you're done, you now have a wonderful lamp and jar candle that you can enjoy as decor in your home.
