Hi, my name is Al Agon, and today we are covering TRX oblique leg raises. The oblique muscles are located in the core muscles, the core family is right over here, what I call bikini sides. So here's a TRX band that normally is connected to the ceiling and what we're doing is is the fact that we are connected to her feet. Now before we start, it is important, this is a very simple exercise, is alignment. So what you are doing is, is that making sure that her shoulders are over the elbows. Her hips are in line with her heels. So therefore, you can see a straight line, not going out of alignment. Now what she is going to do is she is going to now raise her hips off the ground, stabilizing with her hands and then we're going to elevate her legs. Now from here you're going to go down and up. Now the reason for this exercise it's very important to understand the fact that the oblique muscle is part of the core. Also for the bikini sides to make them nice and small. At the same time while she is doing it for sports, is using it for all the sports like anything where you do these movements, like could be soccer, could be kickboxing, could be football, volleyball, it's very important but the most important thing is if you strengthen the core, everything else gets stronger and you have higher performance and a better body.
