Hi, I'm Chelsea Silverman. And this is how to squish tomatoes. Now, why would you want to squish tomatoes? Because they're delicious, nutritious and you can use this squish in this tomato juice as base for almost anything. You can make a tomato sauce, you can make a soup, you could even just eat it with a spoon straight from the bowl. You're going to take your organic ripe wine tomatoes and you're going to cut them in half. I took three. Then, you're going to leave the skin on. Skin is a nice border between all the tomato juice and the actual tomato. Yeah, you can still get messy, but at least it's, your hand's not getting all throughout the juice. You're going to take your half a tomato, and put it over a glass bowl and squeeze really, really hard, until you can't get any juice out anymore. You might, you're going to disregard the skin and you might find chunks that come out form the tomato. So, pick those up and squish those as much as you can also. Now with the discarded part, you don't want anything to go to waste. So, you can throw it into a high speed blender or your Vitamix and mix it with other vegetables and seasoning. And you can have a delicious raw soup.
